Bleached and unbleached ginger recover in listless trade

Ginger bleached and unbleached recovered in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today due to good demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, all other copra varieties ruled stable in the absence of necessary buying support.
Ginger bleached and unbleached gained by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 160 and Rs 180 from Thursday's close Rs 150 and Rs 170.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 740/810 (740/810), ginger bleached (per kg) 160 (150), ginger unbleached (per kg) 180 (170) copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 5,500 (5,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,400 (5,400), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 10,300 (10,300), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,000 (7,000).
