Block development committee member shot at in UP

A member of Bazar Shukl block development committee (BDC) was shot at allegedly by three motorcycle-borne people here today and personal enmity is thought to be the reason behind the incident, the police said.
The three accused shot at Ramlal Passi near his village at Hamari and fled. He was taken to a hospital in Lucknow where he is stated to be out of danger, SHO of Bazar Shukul police station Vinod Mishra said.
On the complaint of Passi's family members, the three accused has been booked, he said, adding a hunt has been launched to nab them.
