Blue Star launches a new range of room ACs

Refrigerator and AC maker Blue Star Ltd today announced the launch of a new range of room air conditioners for the residential segment here.
The new range is energy-efficient, eco-friendly and contemporary.
In Rajasthan, the segment of split ACs is growing rapidly and we want to tap the opportunities in the market here, B Thiagarajan, Executive Director and President AC and R Products Business, Blue Star Limited said at a press conference here.
He said that the company plans to enhance its investment on new product development and research and design initiatives in order to continue to develop modern and sophisticated products.

Saying that the company plans to continue its thrust on home segment with its new line up for the current year, Thiagarajan said that the company is targeting a market share of double-digits in FY16 as compared to the current 8.5 per cent in terms of value.
He said that the room AC market in the country has grown by about 20 per cent in terms of value during the fiscal so far while the company grew at 30 per cent thereby increasing its market share.
