Boat capsizes, 2 feared drowned

Two persons were feared drowned after their boat capsized in Kumardhara river in Puttur near here today, official sources said.
The missing persons are Kinjananna Gowda(60)and Ganesh(63) who were on their way to Buderi Daivastana temple.
However, Narayana, who was navigating the boat, swam to safety.
A rescue team including fire service personnel and police has launched a search operation for the missing persons. A team of expert swimmers are also helping in the operation.
