Bodies of two sisters recovered

were recovered today from Gangi rivulet under Town police station area in Bihar's Bhojpur district, a police officer said.

The swollen bodies of Gita and Sangita were recovered from the rivulet, a tributory of river Ganga, two days after they had jumped from the bridge and committed suicide apparently due to family problems, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ravish Kumar said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, he said.

The sisters were natives of Bahuli locality, Kumar said.
