Bodies of woman, 3-year-old girl found in canal in Kurnool

An unidentified woman and a baby girl, presumably her daughter, were today found dead in a canal in Kurnool city of Andhra Pradesh, police said.
The bodies of the woman, aged around 30, and the girl, aged around 3, were found in the canal this afternoon, inspector J Babu Prasad said.
"The baby was tied with a sari to her mother. Investigation will throw light on if it was suicide," he said.
