Body of migrant worker recovered, two workers absconding

The body of a 40-year-old migrant worker has been found in his room and a search was on for two persons suspected to be involved in the murder, police said today.
The body of Sagar was recovered from his room at Karikathoor yesterday morning, police said.
A search was on for two persons, who were also migrant workers, staying at the next room of Sagar's,Chevayur Circle Inspector A V John said.
The trio, who came here days back, were working for a contractor who undertakes construction works. But either the contractor or the house owner do not have the details of their names or their whereabouts, John said.

Postmortem report revealed that the death could have occurred due to strangulation, he said.
