Body of minor boy found in water-filled pit in Nagpur

The body of a four-and-half year old boy was found in a water-filled pit in Wadi area of Nagpur on Tuesday, police said.

According to Inspector Rajendra Pathak of Wadi police station, the child had gone out to play on Monday evening and had been missing since, till his body was found in the pit near the local gram panchayat hall at around 5am.

A case of accidental death has been registered and the post mortem report was awaited, Pathak added.
