The body of a minor who had been kidnapped on October 29 was found Friday in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra's Thane district, police said.
The body of Mohammad Bilal Mohammad Shakil Qureshi (15), son of a meat shop owner, was found in a highly decomposed state in Ovli Khind area of Bhiwandi's Narpoli locality, Inspector S A Bhagwan of Bhoiwada police station said.
He said that the body bore injury marks and has been sent for post mortem.
Bhagwan said that one Vahid Ansari (20) has been arrested in connection with the crime and two more people are wanted in the case.
Bhoiwada police, which had registered a kidnapping case earlier, Friday added sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) to it, he said.
