Body of university student found hanging in her rented flat

The body of a 22-year-old B.tech student of a university in Noida was found hanging in her rented apartment at Indirapuram here today, the police said.
The body of Shubhi Agarwal, a native of Aligarh district, was found by her classmate, Anshuman, and his friends who broke open the window and entered the apartment after finding her phone switched off since last night, SP (City) Akash Tomar said.
Agarwal was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead, the officer said, adding the woman's roommate had gone her home in Delhi yesterday.
After being informed by the hospital, the police reached there and sent the body for post-mortem, he said.

A probe into the incident is underway and the exact reason of her death would be ascertained after the post-mortem report arrives, the police officer said.
