Body of unknown youth found in North Kolkata

Body of an unknown youth was today recovered from a locality of the Kashi Bose Lane in the Burtolla Police Station limits this morning in the northern part of the city, the police said.
Though the identity of the youth was yet to be ascertained, the police suspected that the person could be a drug addict who could be killed, a senior officer of the force said.
Locals found the body lying on the ground at around 7.30 AM today where the Kashi Bose Lane Durga puja is held every year, he said and then the local police station was informed.

There were injury marks in the ankle of the deceased which, however, was not the reason of the youth, he said adding the post mortem report was yet not complete.
