Body of woman found inside rented rooms in Paharganj

The body of an unidentified woman was found in a decomposed state inside a house in central Delhi's Paharganj area today.
After locals complained of a stench emanating from the house, a search of the premises led to the discovery of the body inside a rented accommodation which was locked from outside, police said.
Police have registered a case of murder and begun an inquiry into the matter. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained, they said.
Meanwhile, after no locals and neither the landlord could identify the woman, police booked a case against the latter for non-compliance with tenant verification rules.
