The deceased has been identified as Deepak, who was a resident of Tughlakabad extension. He was pursuing studies from School of Open Learning, said a senior police officer.
His body was recovered near Tughlakabad Fort near 7.30 pm when locals made a PCR call, added the officer.
The body was found in a battered condition with multiple wounds and the face smashed against a stone, added the officer.
The police has ruled out the possibility of robbery, said the officer.
