woman was recovered from the bank of the Brahmaputra river today at North Guwahati town of Assam's Kamrup Rural district.
Officials said locals in the area noticed the body on the bank of the river this morning and informed the police. The cause of the woman's death is yet to be ascertained.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
