Bollywood lauds Amitabh-Deepika starrer 'Piku'

Bollywood celebrities including Madhur Bhandarkar, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor have given the upcoming film "Piku" a thumbs up and hailed the performances of the main cast Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irffan Khan.
The slice of life film, directed by Shoojit Sircar, is about a young girl Piku (Deepika) and her relationship with her ageing father (Bachchan) and Irrfan is the mediator of sorts between the two.

"Piku is a very special & a rare Gem.@deepikapadukone is effortlessly magnificent.@ShoojitSircar @SrBachchan @irrfan_k take a bow!!" actor Sushant Singh Rajput tweeted.

Sidharth wrote, "#Piku is Lovely funny endearing @deepikapadukone is exceptional irfan is a super romantic and @SrBachchan is just the best!thank you Shoojit sir."

Actress Radhika Apte said, "Outstanding performances! Loved the writing.. Loved everything! #PIKU @deepikapadukone @irrfan_k @ShoojitSircar."
Director Anubhav Sinha said he had mixed feelings after watching the film.
