Bollywood remembers Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru

Bollywood personalities remembered the "fearless" freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on the 83th anniversary of their martyrdom.
Noted celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Anupam Kher and Shekhar Kapur took to Twitter to express their respect and admiration towards the martyrs, who were hanged to death in Lahore Jail (Pakistan) on March 23, 1931.
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar posted a link of her famous patriotic song 'Jo Samar Mein Ho Gaye Amar' and tweeted, "Today our country's martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged. I want to pay my tribute to these true sons of our nation."
Veteran actor Anupam Kher posted "Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru will always remain my fearless heroes. Hope we learn selflessness towards our nation from them. Salute."
Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur recalled the sacrifices the trio made for the nation.
"Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Fasted 114 days in Jail 2 give Indian prisoners same rights as British. Martyred this day.84 years ago. Hanged. He was 23," Kapur tweeted.
Director Madhur Bhandarkar posted a black and white picture of the spot where the martyrs were hanged to death
"Shadman Chowk in Lahore, The spot where Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged on March 23, 1931," he wrote along with the picture.
'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi' helmer Sudhir Mishra tweeted," To know Bhagat Singh read all that he has written. To know Bhagat Singh look at his actions, the extent to which he went for what he believed in."
Actor Sonu sood, who played Bhagat Singh in his first film 'Shaahed-E-Azam', wrote "Salute to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary. Played Bhagat Singh in my 1st film. Proud moment."
Former Miss India and actor Gul Panag, who is the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for Lok Sabha polls from Chandigarh also remembered the martyrs.
"In the memory of Bhagat Singh, the man who taught us how to love our motherland truly, the only way to do it. Swaraj(self governance). 'Inqualab Zindabad'- Bhagat Singh 28/9/1907 - 23 /3/ 1931. You gave your life for # Swaraj, we commit ours to # Swaraj," she tweeted.
Singer Mika Singh posted, "Inqlab Zindabad... Today is the death anniversary of legendary Bhagat singh, Sukhdev and Raj Guru... I salute the real hero of india Shaheed Bhagat singh.
