Bollywood stars play exhibition match during PBL final

Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh today entertained the spectators with a game of badminton during the Premier Badminton League (PBL) finals here today.
While Akshay, who is the brand ambassador of PBL and also a co-owner of Mumbai Rockets, paired up with two-time silver medallist at World Championship PV Sindhu, Abhishek combined with 2010 Commonwealth Games champion Jwala Gutta even as Ritesh took the position of chair umpire and BAI president Akhilesh Das Gupta became the service judge.
Akshay and Abhishek engaged in playful banter and showed their skills during the exhibition match to entertain the cheering audience.

The three filmstar then took one side of the court and played a game against Jwala, Ashwini Ponnappa and Sindhu, while the BAI chief became the chair umpire and announced each points during the exhibition match.
After the match, the BAI president handed over memento as a few token of appreciation to the players and Bollywood stars.
Akshay, Abhishek, Jwala and Sindhu then gave away few racquets at the badminton fans who had thronged the Siri Fort Complex here.
