The manager of Janakpuri district centre informed police that they have recovered the letter from the toilet on sixth floor which said that the bomb has been placed in the building, a senior police official said.
Police team, bomb disposal squad and fire tenders were rushed to the building, which conducted a search.
After searches for three hours, police found nothing and declared it a hoax.
