Bombay Rayon posts Q1 net profit of Rs 13.08 crore

Textile major Bombay Rayon Fashions today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 13.08 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, on higher sales.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 38 crore in the same period last year, it said in a BSE filing.
Net sales increased to Rs 887.39 crore during the quarter as against Rs 798.06 crore in the same quarter, last year.

"NTPC had committed to construct 24,626 toilets in and around 16,000 school spread across 17 states and 80 districts. NTPC has achieved the completion target of 24,626 toilets under Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan," it said in a release.
