Bombs recovered and diffused in Serendaag

Security personnel today recovered four powerful bombs from Serendaag panchayat under Hergunj police station in Latehar district, the police said.
Acting on tip-off, the security personnel comprised of CRPF and district armed police launched a search operation and recovered four bombs, the police said.
The explosives were defused by the CRPF's bomb squad team.
The security personnel recovered four can-bombs weighing five kg each from Bikra jungle under Serendaag panchayat and defused them, the police said adding, it was the second recovery in the last three weeks.
On March 10, security personnel had recovered two bombs of 25 kg each and one bomb of five kg.
