Books are man's best friends, says NHRC chief

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) chairperson Justice (rtd) KG Balakrishna today said that books are the best friend of a man and library is known as heaven for scholars since time in memorial.
He was addressing a function at a private university here.
Reflecting on the qualities of private universities justice Balakrishna said that "every place is recognised by its people and their accomplishments."
The rights body chairman told the students that they should pass through intense competition work with great dedication.
