Bosch shares gain on inclusion in Nifty-50 stocks

Shares of auto component major Bosch today rose by 2.5 per cent on its inclusion in the benchmark NSE Nifty scrips.
Bosch stock rose by 2.48 per cent to settle at Rs 23,668.85 on the NSE. During the day, it had gained 3.48 per cent to Rs 23,900.
Infrastructure financing firm IDFC went out of the benchmark NSE Nifty from today and was replaced by Bosch.
Shares of IDFC too ended 0.98 per cent higher at Rs 154.55 despite its exit from Nifty.
Bosch's inclusion in Nifty was announced on April 29, 2015 and since then the stock has gained over 9 per cent.
The changes came into effect from today, in line with the announcement made late last month by India Index Services & Products Ltd (IISL), an NSE group firm that manages Nifty and other indices.
The NSE Nifty ended at the day at 8,433.65, up 114.65 points.
