Box8 raises Rs 50 cr from IIFL Seed Ventures Fund & Mayfield

Food delivery start-up Box8 today said that it has raised Rs 50 crore in funding from IIFL Seed Ventures Fund & Mayfield.
"Box8, food delivery start up, has raised Rs 50 crore in funding from IIFL Seed Ventures Fund & Mayfield," the company said in a statement.
Started by two IIT graduates Amit raj and Anshul Gupta, Box8 now serves 12000 meals every day to its consumer base through a network of 60 stores across three cities Mumbai, Pune & Bangalore.

Tech decision makers in India prefer public cloud: Microsoft * A survey by Microsoft and market research firm Wakefield Research shows that technology decision makers in India prefer public cloud.
As per the survey, 57 per cent respondents from India have adopted public cloud solutions, 33 per cent respondents stated that their companies use hybrid cloud --a combination public and private cloud) solutions.
"These are among the highest rate of adoptions and are better than markets such as US, UK and Japan," Microsoft said in a statement.
64 per cent Indian respondents were comfortable in hosting their company's most essential applications or services on the public cloud and 64 per cent Indian respondents believe that public cloud solutions are very important to connect seamlessly to the organization's existing data centers five years from now, the survey said.

Wellness startup Healthians raises USD 3 mln * Diagnostic and wellness start-up Healthians.Com has announced to raised USD 3 million (Rs 20 crore) in Series A Round of funding.
The funding was led by Beenext along with Digital Garage, Japan, BEENOS and others, the company said in a statement.
Healthians.Com technology-led asset light model merges international quality benchmarks of branded labs with the scalability & efficiency of marketplaces.
