Boy crushed to death by speeding RTV

A 14-year-old boy died today after he was hit by a speeding RTV bus in Khoda Chowk area of east Delhi.
According to police, Vishal, a class 8th student, was hit by the speeding RTV bus from behind when he was riding his bicycle around 9.30 AM near Khoda Chowk.
Vishal flung to a distance due to the impact and died on the spot, they said, adding, the accused driver, Satyapal, was forced to bring the bus to a halt.
He was pulled out of the bus by onlookers and handed over to police, who arrived as soon as they received information.
Satyapal has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC, police said.
As per initial investigations, head injuries appeared to have caused Vishal's death.
