The minor boy, an inmate of the hostel being run by Tamil Evangelical Lutheran Church (TELC), identified the accused Veeran alias Veerasamy during the hearing of the case before the Judge M P Subramanian.
The boy told the court that he had seen Veerasamy entering the hostel and forcibly taking the girls from there.
In his 15-minute deposition, the boy said he had narrated the incident to the hostel warden.
He also said he had seen Veerasamy jumping to make good his escape from the terrace where the two girls were reportedly raped some three months ago.
The hearing was posted for September 17.
