The deceased, identified as Yuvraj, and his cousin Tushar (14), were riding pillion in a motorbike driven by Tushar's father when a speeding DTC bus allegedly hit them from the rear side around 8 PM yesterday, said a police official.
Both the boys were rushed to a hospital, where Yuvraj was declared brought dead. Meanwhile, locals stopped the DTC bus and handed the driver, identified as Sunil, to the police.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met the family of the deceased boy today. "CM @ArvindKejriwal meets and shares the pain of the family members of DTC accident victim in Narela," the AAP party later tweeted through its official Delhi-NCR handle.
