Boy's body found in an iron box onboard state transport bus

A two-year-old boy's body was found in an iron box onboard a state road transport bus in Warangal city of Telangana state, the police said here today.
The bus which bound for Bhadrachalam to Godawarikhani reached the Warangal bus stand near the Warangal railways station.
Some passengers alerted the bus crew about the foul smell from the box, after which the driver opened the box and found the body.
He lodged a complaint at the at the Matwada police station in Warangal city.
The police came to the bus stand and took away the body to the mortuary at MGM Hospital.
The case is being investigated, the police said.
