BPCL beat IOC in Murugappa hockey

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) held defending champions Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) to a 1-1 draw in Group A league match of the All India MCC Murugappa hockey tournament, here today.
Both IOC and BPCL have seven points each with two wins and a draw under their belt.
IOC drew the first blood through Prabhjot Singh in the 42nd minute before Tushar Khandekar equalised for BPCL in 69th minute.
Meanwhile in a Group B encounter, Railways thrashed ONGC 7-2.
For Railways, Talwinder Singh, J P Kush, Amit Rohidass, Affan Yousuf (2), Malak Singh and Raju Paul were the goal scorers, while Gurjinder Singh and Diwakar Ram netted for ONGC.
