Danish, who made his directorial debut with the Deepika Padukone-Imran Khan starrer, said he is in the scripting stage for the upcoming movie.
"I am working on a thriller film. It is in scripting stages. It is too early to talk about the star cast... It depends on the script," Danish told PTI.
It is not clear if the project will go on floors this year or not.
Danish was earlier working on a film tiltled "Romil and Juggal" a gay love story, also produced by Ekta Kapoor but it got shelved.
"Romil Juggal" was about two guys from warring families falling in love. It was supposed to feature newcomers.
