Delhiites are in for a musical treat as renowned a cappella British band "The Magnets" is in town with some incredible tunes, but without any instruments!
A cappella music is created without any instrumental accompaniment, and the band will do the trick at "The Magnets Feat" by combining glorious harmonies, virtuosi beat boxing and their very unique British charm, tomorrow at the Siri Fort auditorium here.
The band will belt out compositions that bring together east and west, with pop, rock and Bollywood chartbusters getting their feet tapping.
"This is a show where everyone gets to party from start to the finish. It is going to be quite a blast as we have fused the best of the West with popular Indian music.
"'The Magnets' are the perfect ambassadors for British music, culture and entertainment. Their shows are spiced with musical sophistication, smart choreography, humor and audience participation. ," said Ashvin Gidwani, producer and MD, AGP World, which is organisng the event.
The band, on its debut tour to India, will be accompanied by 'Bollywood Soprano' Natalie Di Luccio, whose repertoire ranges from opera to Bollywood hits.
"The Magnets" have previously performed at the Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Jubilee, the O2 Empire and The Roundhouse with artists such as Blondie, Tom Jones, Michael Ball and Lisa Stansfield among others.
