The victim has been identified as Bulaf Shah.
According to a complaint registered by her father, Islam, her brother Aslam had arrived from Delhi for the Eid and when he found her talking over phone, he demanded the details of the conversation, following which a quarrel ensued between them and in the heat of the moment Aslam hit her with a wooden stick, which proved fatal, police said.
Aslam today after investigations confessed to his crime, police said, adding he has been arrested.
