Brother-sister duo drown in pond in UP

A 11-year-old girl and her brother drowned in a pond while grazing buffaloes at Maksoodpur village in the district, police said today.
The victims, Muskaan and Raja (10), were grazing buffaloes near a pond last evening when the girl slipped in the water and drowned. Raja also drowned while trying to rescue her, they said.
The bodies were later fished out by the villagers, police said.
