"We are delighted to have achieved this trading volume of over Rs 2,000 crore in currency derivatives in less than 45 days of its launch," BSE Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ashishkumar Chauhan said.
BSE, which launched its current derivative segment last November, enjoys a market share of 20 per cent in the segment.
The stock exchange has five instruments in the segment paired with the rupee -- dollar, yen, pound and euro and a dollar-Rupee futures.
