The most important proposal that got the board's nod is to set up model examination centre and regional centre at all nine divisional commissionaries of the state.
"We will construct multi-purpose buildings in all the nine commissinaries of the state. The examination centres will be equipped with CCTV facility besides the arrangements of webcasting during the examinations. Each exam centre can accomdate 4000 to 5000 students. It will be easier to keep a tab during the examination," BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore told PTI.
The decisions were taken at yesterday's governing body meeting, he said.
The Board would construct five storeyed buildings at Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Gaya and Darbhanga while it would be four storeyed building at Saharsa, Purnea, Saran and Munger with each floor having 10,000 square feet of space, chairman said.
One of the floors of the building would house 'regional office' of the Board, Kishore said.
