Troops observed suspicious movements of 2 persons around 60-70 meters ahead of fence near forward area in Arnia sector

BSF troops resorted to brief firing after detecting suspected movements by some persons along International Border (IB) in Arnia sector of Jammu district.

"At about 2001 hrs, the troops observed suspicious movements of 2 persons around 60-70 meters ahead of fence near forward area in Arnia sector of Jammu district," a BSF officer said.

BSF troops, guarding the borderline, fired three rounds of Insas rifles and one para bomb to illuminate the area, he said, adding that they seem to have gone back.

"There was no foiling of infiltration bid," he said.
