Bansal, who was accompanied by RWA office bearers and members, expressed concerns over the various difficulties faced by the residents of 'Line-Paar' area i.E. Vijay Nagar and Pratap Vihar colonies of the city, sources said.
The delegation handed over a memorandum to DM Vimal Kumar Sharma in which they said that traffic congestion at Vijay Nagar intersection is causing accidents and deaths.
They lamented of the fact that the problems of the area are going unnoticed by the civic authorities.
Bansal stated that the sewer pipes are overflowing due to deposit of rainwater in the area, that in turn is entering the pipes.
The unwanted and unauthorised cuts on dividers at NH24 are creating problems for commuters, he added.
