Burdwan blast mastermind remanded to 14 days JC

Sajid alias Sk Rahamuttalah, the mastermind of the Burdwan blast and a member of Bangladesh terror outfit JMB, was remanded to 14-days judicial custody by a local court today.
The order was passed by Barasat CJM Edwin Lepcha.
He was earlier in NIA custody. Sajid, for whom NIA had announced an award of Rs 10 lakh, was arrested by police on November 8 from Jessore Road, near Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International airport.
Sajid hails from Narayanganj in Bangladesh.
Rs one lakh, fake voter id cards and documents were seized from him and he was handed over to NIA which is probing the October 2 blast.
