Burglars managed to sneak into the bureau offices of three media houses -- CNN-IBN, IBN7 and Times Now -- located in Hotel Pamposh in the heart of Srinagar city during the night, police said.
They ransacked the offices and took away three mobile phones from rooms on the third floor of the hotel building, they said, adding that no equipment was damaged.
The hotel staff claimed that the CCTV cameras on the floor "malfunctioned" in the afternoon yesterday, but incidentally started working this morning, they said.
