Bus caught fie, passengers safe

About 30 passengers escaped unhurt when a bus in which they were travelling caught fire at Chhamunda village in Ganjam district today
The bus was proceeding to Bhubaneswar from Kotagarh when smoke emanated from its engine and the vehicle caught fire, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Bhanjanagar) Ramesh Chandra Sethy said.
While all the passengers and driver swiftly moved out of the bus, the bags and baggages were gutted in the accident, he said.
Fire tenders from Jagannathprasad were pressed to douse the flame. The reason of fire is yet to be ascertained, police said.
