A 50-year-old bus conductor was arrested here today on the charge of sexually harassing a girl student in a moving state-run Road Transport Corporation bus here in the city, police said.
The girl sent a message to police over phone, stating that the conductor, identified as Srinivas Guptha,had sexually harassed her while she was going to college in the bus and was also misbehaving with ladies, a police press release said.
She also said that the conductor was in the habit of doing such things daily.
Following the complaint, personnel of 'SHE Teams' (formedto curb eve teasing and harassment of women) traced the conductor and arrested him after booking him under relevant IPC sections, police said.
