Bus conductor shot dead in Badaut

A 22-year-old employee of Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Corporation was today shot dead over alleged rivalry in Badaut area in the district, police said.
The victim identified as Nitin, who was working on contractual basis as bus conductor with the Corporation, was shot dead while he was on his way to duty at Badaut bus depot, they said.
The police have declined to give the details of the accused.
Although rivalry seems to be the motive behind the murder, but no complaint has been received so far, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
