Bus service was launched
at malnutrition-hit Nagada in Odisha's Jajpur district to improve transportation facility for the tribals residing in the hilltop village.
Sukinda legislator Priti Ranjan Ghadai launched the daily bus service yesterday to Nagada, which was inaccessible a couple of months ago, at Danagadi in the district. The private bus will ply between Chandikhole and Nagada via Sukinda and the Kalinga Nagar Industrial complex area.
"Tribals residing in Nagada hill top will be benefited with the launch of public bus service" said Ghadai.
"We have introduced the bus service on this route on an experiment basis. We will further examine the arrangement and if necessary we may also alter the route. All we want is to bring about a behavioural change among the tribals residing on the hill top villages. They will have no more problems after this," said Ghadai.

Nagada, consisting of 3 hamlets and resided by primitive Juanga tribals, had drawn the attention of both national and international media following malnourished deaths of 19 children last year.
