Bus set on fire by engineering college students

The students intercepted the bus as it was trying to speed away after a hit and run case involving a fellow engineering student Sonam Kumari and set it ablaze, they said.

The students retreated to the engineering college campus after carrying out arson, they said.

Senior officials, including the Sub-Divisional Officer Pradeep Kumar Gupta and the Deputy Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar rushed to the spot to ease tension.
