Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has invited suggestions from people for the state government's budget 2015-16, to be tabled in the Assembly on March 13.
"Nearly 40 lakh mobile users have been requested through SMS to give their suggestions for the state's upcoming budget on CMO's (chief minister office) website," Public Relations Department secretary G S Mishra said here today.
Youngsters, farmers, businessmen, employees, women, senior citizens and other sections of the society have been urged to send their suggestions and expectations from the general budget on the website, he said.
The Chief Minister, who also holds finance portfolio, will present the state's budget for 2015-16 on March 13 during the ongoing Assembly session, Mishra said.
All the major points of CM's budget speech will be continuously updated on his official 'Facebook' and 'Twitter' accounts. The department is making necessary arrangements for the same, Mishra said.
