Under the scheme, 292 health teams comprising doctors and paramedical staff have been constituted which will visit different places, especially remote areas, for conducting free health check up, a health official here said.
All 146 development blocks of the state will be covered under it, the official said, adding that two teams have been assigned for each development block.
While health screening of the children upto six years will be done at Aanganwadi centres, students between 6 and 18 years of age in government primary, secondary, higher secondary and residential schools will be provided benefits of the scheme at their educational premises, he said.
If children have any serious ailments, they will be referred to hospitals, the official added.
