C'garh to name international hockey stadium after Sardar Patel

The Chhattisgarh government has decided to name the city-based international hockey stadium after India's first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Chief Minister Raman Singh today flagged off 'Run for Unity' here to mark the 140th birth anniversary of Patel, the first deputy Prime Minister of the country, an official release said.
Singh has announced to name the international hockey stadium here after Patel, it said.
"People of Chhattisgarh participated with enthusiasm in the Run for Unity," Singh added.
