The surgeons, Dr Gary J Alter and Dr Harrison H Lee, were grateful that everything went well, reported New York Daily News.
"She's extremely happy with the results, and we are too," Gary said.
He commented on the 65-year-old former athlete's debut on Vanity Fair's cover, "I thought she looked absolutely beautiful."
The doctor explained that he was the one who performed "some body work" while Dr Lee performed the "facial feminization" in Beverly Hills on March 15.
"We knew it would be a long procedure and everything was planned ahead of time, and we're very fortunate that everything has gone very well," he added.
Regarding follow-up appointments to check on her results, Dr Alter said that it was "up to her." He also said that there was possibility if she wanted to have more work done.
