Canada's Immigration minister calls on Haryana Governor

Canadian Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship minister John McCallum today called on Haryana Governor, Kaptan Singh Solanki at the Raj Bhavan here.
They discussed issues of mutual interest in a very cordial atmosphere, an official release said here.
McCallum evinced keen interest in culture and customs of this region, it said.
During his visit to India from November 4 to November 11, McCallum met senior government functionaries and discussed various issues at length, the release said.
"Cultural connections of Canada with India is growing as a number of Indians live there. Moreover four cabinet ministers of Canada are of Indian-origin," the Governor said.
