Case against right-wing activist for making derogatory remarks

A case has been registered against a right-wing activist for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Islam in Jansath town in the district, police said today.
The case was registered against Kamlesh Tiwari under sections 153 A and 295 of the IPC at Jansath Police Stationon the complaint of a local cleric, Mohd Shahid Nadvi, in his connection, according to SHO Dhananjay Mishra.
Meanwhile some Muslims protested and took out a processionover Tiwari's statement here last evening.
