Sub-inspector S H Patil of Nagar police station said three other members of the managing committee of the trust, which runs schools and colleges in Ulhasnagar, too are named in the first information report.
According to a complaint filed by Bhanudas Sankhe, an officer of the social welfare department, the trust fabricated rent certificates, on the basis of which it claimed reimbursement of the rent for a school for mentally challenged children from the government for many years, getting Rs 4,52,500 in all.
